Biden FBI Obtained Susie Wiles and Kash Patel’s Phone Records
Reports emerged on Wednesday that the Biden FBI subpoenaed Susie Wiles and Kash Patel’s phone records in 2022 and 2023 as part of the former president’s political targeting probes into Donald Trump. Both victims were private citizens at the time.
Reuters first disclosed the subpoenas, which were part of Jack Smith’s investigation into the 2020 election’s aftermath. A federal judge ultimately dismissed the case after Trump’s 2024 victory, citing Justice Department policy against prosecuting a sitting commander in chief.
Patel called the seizure of his phone records "outrageous and deeply alarming” on Wednesday, and Wiles is reportedly “in shock” at the story.
It is easy to predict how Democrats would have reacted if the first Trump administration did the same thing to Barack Obama’s associates: complete outrage. Will they express the same sentiments today? We’re not holding our breath.
