White House “Dismayed” by Israeli Strikes on Iranian Oil Depots
Israel’s weekend strikes on dozens of Iranian fuel depots reportedly went far beyond what the United States expected, sparking the first significant disagreement between the “allies” since this war began.
The IDF notified the U.S. military ahead of the strikes, but their wide-ranging nature still surprised the Americans. The U.S. believes the attacks, which ignited flames visible for miles and blanketed Tehran in heavy smoke, could rally Iranian society to support the regime.
The episode displeased Donald Trump, and shockingly, even Lindsey Graham is upset about it. Stories like this reveal the deeply unhealthy nature of the U.S—Israeli “partnership.”
America gives Israel unconditional support, meaning our country should be the boss in the relationship.
But we aren’t. Israel treats our leaders like helpless lapdogs, and for whatever reason,
Washington is too spineless to do anything about it. The entire thing is a national humiliation.
