Did you catch this week’s news about the Southern Poverty Law Center? 

According to the Justice Department, the “civil rights” group spent years secretly funding leaders of right-wing extremist groups it claimed to be battling, pumping millions of dollars into organizations like the Ku Klux Klan, the United Klans of America, and the Aryan Nations-affiliated Sadistic Souls Motorcycle Club. The nonprofit faces six counts of wire fraud, four counts of bank fraud, and one count of money laundering.

“The SPLC was not dismantling the groups,” Attorney General Todd Blanche said this week. “It was instead manufacturing the extremism it purports to oppose by paying sources to stoke racial hatred.”

Old tweets from Charlie Kirk, Elon Musk, and others have resurfaced in the midst of this wild story, showing them recognizing the SPLC as a “hate group” and “an evil organization that spreads hate propaganda relentlessly” as early as 2023. They nailed it.
