North Carolina’s election board anticipated discovering some abnormalities in its recent voter roll audit. The actual findings blew expectations out of the water.

Officials this week announced the uncovering of 34,000 dead people on North Carolina’s voter rolls. The records emerged during a review of the citizenship status of registered voters. Although the revelation does not necessarily indicate that criminals have cast ballots in the deceased voters’ names, it reveals our system’s shocking vulnerability to fraud. Anyone who insists a U.S. election would be impossible to steal likely has something to hide.
